A 9 year old Tibetan refugee boy, Tashi, growing up in the small Himalayan hill town of Dharamshala in India, stumbles upon his exiled refugee identity when he’s told at school there is an invisible ‘R’ written on his forehead. Navigating his way though a massive protest rally, Tashi makes his way to a quite hill top in order to solve the mystery of this invisible ‘R’. Seeking help of his best friend, a native Himachali girl, and a Buddhist monk – Tashi’s quest leads him to discover the troubled legacy of his people.
